About Me:
For twenty-four years,I have worked in the Special Education field. I am a licensed speech-language pathologist and I spent thirteen and a half years in the public schools. Ten years ago, I opened my Special Education Advocacy business. With my vast experience as a school-based clinician, I confidently assist parents with all aspects of the Special Education process. My goal is to empower parents and help them effectively advocate for their children.
I have attended hundreds of IEP and 504 Meetings throughout my career, presented information at staff meetings and have created the IEP Insider Course© for parents. My areas of interest include Speech and Language Disorders, Learning Disabilities, Reading Disorders including Dyslexia, ADHD, Dysgraphia, Executive Functioning issues and Social/Emotional Disorders.
I am a married mom of three active boys. My husband and I were high school sweethearts and a chance encounter at a Y2K New Year’s Eve party led us back together. Two days later, we went out on a date and the rest is history! I love attending my sons’ many sporting events, traveling to warm destinations, going out to dinner, working-out, reading, and taking photos of sunrises.
